Nellie Rabon Obituary
Born on August 14, 1910, Mrs. Rabon was the daughter of the late Eddie and Ivelia Barfield. She was predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Carl Rabon.
She was a lifelong resident of Lugoff, where she was always active in her church. She was a homemaker, cook and loved to crochet. Sharing memories of her past with her family was always a big part of her life.
Surviving are her children, Myrtle Branham, Betty Boyce and Mary Nell Branham of Lugoff, Earline Carter of Mt. Pleasant, Roland Rabon (Gena) and Howard Rabon of Camden and Carl F. (Buddy) Rabon (Shirley) of Lugoff. Mrs. Rabon had 15 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren and many, many friends. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by 2 infant children, 3 grandchildren, I great-great-grandchild and 3 son-in-laws. She was the sole remaining member of her family of 8 siblings.

Dear Friends -
It is with saddness I read of the home going of your Mother, Mrs. Nellie Rabon.
Althought I only met her a few times over the years, I could tell by your lives she was indeed a very special person. And, besides that, my mother Mrs. Ada Bowen Waitt told me about her.
May the Lord that called her home continue to supply you and all of the family with the strength, courage, love and grace necessary during this time of sorrow. May God bless you in these days ahead.
