Mrs. Nona had a special smile that always made you feel comfortable. I looked forward to sitting and talking with her and Mr. Jeff at dialysis. I know she has a place in God's Paradise and is smiling down on us. My prayers and thoughts are with Mr. Boudreaux and family.

I was so fortunate to spend an hour with her just before she became ill. We talked about so many things, and she was happy. Yes, she was worried about her sister and David, but she was happy. We talked about all the fun times we had with our children growing up, talked about her love for cooking and when she left, she promised me she'd bake me her famous rum cake. Nona always had a way of making everyone around her happy. This was one of her greatest attributes. I will treasure my sweet memories of her. She LOVED her family. Thank you Nona for sharing your wonderful life with so many of us.

J sorry to learn of Nona's death. I just lost my husband a month ago. I know how hard it is but we know that in God's beautiful gardens of heaven their souls are @ peace and are free of illness and they joyfully await the day when we can be reunited with them. I will pray for you and your family as I pray for me and mine. I am Nona's former Dialysis nurse @ Ochsner.

To the Family of Mrs. Nona Lane Lincoln Boudreaux, my sincere sympathy and deepest condolences. May you find comfort in a poem I would like to share with you. "An angel whispered take my hand come with me, your work here is done. I went away to a place where there were no tears, nor sorrow, only laughter and smiles and there will always be a tomorrow. As I move amongst the clouds, I will look down and smile upon you, while the angels sing a heavenly song for both you and I. I am not alone, all who went before are here, they awaited my return. I know you will grieve and wish I was still here. But, remember, I am here in all the memories you hold dear. Remember how much I love you and know I took your love with me. I do not wish for you to cry, nor feel sad. I cherish every moment, you and I ever had. Soon we will see each other again. God will be with you just as he's with me."

Nona was one of my DTR (down the river) correspondents in recent years, trading memories and sharing life's simple joys. She was SO sweet and kind, a gentle affirming spirit. I pray for Carolyn and family as y'all celebrate the beautiful lives of your beloved Nona and precious David this week, asking God to comfort you all. May this remembrance of great love be amplified as you celebrate, too, the birth of their Savior and ours.

I have such great memories of spending time with Nona. We always talked about our kids and cooking. Her dream was to write a cookbook. I know I would have bought one. Nona was a great cook but an even better person. She was so caring and kind. The world is a sadder place without her. Sylvia Arb

Mrs Nona was one of those people you meet during your life that always makes you feel like part of her family. She was such a loving and caring soul to all she encountered. Her legacy is shown upon all those faces she put smiles upon, and the strong family character she built inside her sons. May God bring some comfort to all the family through these tough days ahead without this angel. We will keep all of you in our prayers.
