Noradolph Aguzin Obituary

Noradolph Evelyn Hunt Aguzin, in the presence of her loving family and devoted friends, at Canon Hospice, Ochsner Elmwood Campus on Wednesday, October 1, 2003 at 7:50 p.m. after a lengthy illness. She is survived by a son, Dr. Michael Adolph Aguzin; a daughter, Winona Patricia Aguzin Gibbs; a daughter-in-law, Linda Bertaut Aguzin; a loving son-in-law and caregiver, Jim Nelson Gibbs with whom she resided for the past twenty-five years; three sisters-in-law, Mrs. Joseph (Violet B.T.) Aguzin, Mrs. Frederick (Winona Aguzin) Lampa, Mrs. August John (Caroline M.) Aguzin; three granddaughters, Arlene Millet, Michele Levis, and Kathryn Valentino; a grandson, Michael Nelson Gibbs; and 3 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of forty-nine years, Michael Frank Aguzin; parents, Captain Adolph Latour Hunt and Rose Nora Seymour Hunt of Biloxi, MS; a daughter, Eleanora Ann Aguzin; two infant sons, Baby Michael and T.R., twin brother of Dr. Michael Adolph Aguzin; a ""sister,"" Olivette H. Eisenmann; and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Curtis (Shirely Aguzin) Price. Approaching 90 years of age, a native of New Orleans and a resident of Old Metairie for the past 70 years. Relatives and friends of the family may visit from 7:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Friday, October 10, 2003 and from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 11, 2003 at the Metairie Funeral Home of L.A. Muhleisen and Son, 2929 Metaire Road, followed by a Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart of Jesus Roman Catholic Church, 3200 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery. A repast (luncheon) after the burial at Canal Boulevard Baptist Church of the Deaf, 5320 Canal Blvd., New Orleans, LA.
