DIGGS Norman "June" Diggs departed this life on Monday, March 29, 2010 in Newport News, Va. Compassionate helpmate of Connie Lathrop (Diamond Moore). Father of Phil, Silas, Sr. (Kitty), and Norman III and the late Shawn Diggs. Grandfather of Silas, Jr., Shanice, Shamyra, Caleb, and Kode. Son of the late Norman, Sr. and Elsie Bowens Diggs. Brother of Carolyn (Robert) Ross of Gray, La., Trudell (Daniel) Brothers of Marrero, La., Virginia (Arthur) Singleton of Gibson, La., Jacqueline (Elton) Roche' of Harvey, La. and Melissa Harris of Houma, La., Warren (Joyce) Diggs of Morgan City, La., Charles (Geneva) Diggs, Harold Diggs and Priscilla Scott both of Gray, La. and Robert (Kathleen) Diggs of Houma, La. and the late Ernest Lee Diggs, Marilyn Lewis, Rose Marie Diggs, and John Diggs. Devoted nephew of Olevia Johnson of Los Angeles, Ca., and Gertrude Johnson of Morgan City, La. and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Age 58 years, a native of Gibson, La. and a resident of Hamilton, Oh. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, La., on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named parlor.
