In loving memory of Ophelia Cooper. Ophelia was born on August 18, 1954 and called home on August 31, 2021. Ophelia Cooper transitioned and gained her wings on August 31, 2021 as a result of complications from a preexisting condition during the IDA storm. Ophelia was a strong pillar in the community. She never hesitated to lend her talents to anyone who needed her help. She was always willing to help anyone in need. She was a mother, sister, grandmother, cousin, friend & most of all family to everyone she came in contact with. Her family wants her to be remembered as a strong, loving, courageous Queen who stood firm for her tribe and will truly be missed. Ophelia leaves behind her two daughters Giovan Jackson and Mrs. Demetria Phillips. Grandkids Vanisha Massey, Donald, Shavon Duhon, Omarr Jackson, Xavier, Diondru & Dedreanna Washington, Landen, Layla, Lorelle, Louis Jr. Robinson. Great grandkids Bailey Omari Massey, Bryan Micheal Vigne III, Zai'lynn, Dream, and Toni. And of course siblings, friends, and family. Ophelia was welcomed with open arms by her Mother Wynella Cooper, Father Walter Cooper, and her Son Omarr Julian Maximillian Jackson who she missed daily. She will truly be missed.
