Patricia Eva Dufrene

Patricia Eva Portier Dufrene passed away at home, surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at the age of 64. She was the beloved wife and best friend of Gary Dufrene. She was the mother of Jennifer Bienvenu (Lawrence), Stephen Gros (Ann), Paige Dufrene Hoffmann (Joseph), and Darrell Dufrene (Melissa). Grandmother of Jordan Boudreaux (Tara), Dane "D.J." St. Pe Jr., Andrew Landry, Ashley Gros, Drake Dufrene, and Brock Dufrene, but she had a whole bunch more that were just not technically related to her. Daughter of the late Cyril Portier and Gladys Portier. Sister of Bob, Gene, and Harry, as well as the late Cyril "C.J." Jr., Raymond, and Larry Portier. She was a giving person, who was loved by those who knew her. She loved Jesus and her family with all her heart. A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at 4:00 PM.
