Patricia Etienne Obituary

ETIENNE Patricia Triay Etienne passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2012, at the age of 66. Daughter of the late James A. Triay and Dorothy Reso. Beloved wife of Alexandre J. Etienne. Mother of Lisa G. Garner, Wendy A. Colson and Jason M. Vaughn. Stepmother of Brooks A. Etienne and Jean-Paul Etienne. Grandmother of Natalie Garner, Sarah Colson, Hailey Colson and Grace Colson. Sister of Fay Schroeder, Judy Cusimano and Terry Senac. Sister-in-law of Jeaninne Frederick. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Etienne passed away with her family at her side after a two year struggle with Ovarian Cancer. She was born and raised in New Orleans, LA. She was a registered nurse and dedicated member of the local healthcare community for 30 years. Relatives, co-workers, and friends of the family are invited to attend a Memorial Mass at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, 3101 Eton Street, New Orleans, LA 70131 on Friday, February 24, 2012 at 1:00 PM. A short visitation will precede the Mass beginning at 12:30 PM. Inurnment will follow in Metairie Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition or the American Cancer Society preferred. Oh, Alex! I was so saddened to read of your loss. I didn't see Pat that often, but every time I did see her, she was always smiling. . .like her picture. Her strife is over.
