Patricia Ann Bordelon Scioneaux

1943 - 2023

Patricia Ann Bordelon Scioneaux, 80, Louisiana, passed peacefully at her home in Metairie on July 8th, 2023. A native of New Orleans, she was born on January 25th, 1943, daughter of the late Adam Bordelon and Virgie Elizabeth Roth Bordelon. On June 10th, 1961 she married Ned Joseph Scioneaux and spent her life afterwards caring for him, her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, family, and anyone and everyone entering her home. She is survived by her two siblings, Sandra Marshall (David Marshall), and Donald Bordelon (Arlene Kuntz Bordelon); three children, Melanie Scioneaux Bohnsack (Kenneth Dean Bohnsack Jr), Michelle Scioneaux Marks (Henry Wallace), and Ned Scioneaux Jr (Leslie Dear Scioneaux); seven grandchildren, David Brandon Marks (Miranda Yaromey Marks), Shannon Bohnsack, Kenneth Dean Bohnsack III, David Soileau Jr, Mathew Soileau, Attalina Scioneaux and Brianna Scioneaux; and three great-grandchildren, David Christopher, Clara, and Caleb Marks. She was preceded in death by her parents, Adam & Virgie Bordelon, husband, Ned J Scioneaux and daughter, Angelle Scioneaux Soileau (David Soileau). Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend her inurnment at Cypress Hill Cemetery #54 Hackberry on Monday, July 17, 2023 at 10am. A gathering will be held afterwards at her home.
