Patrick Owen Doyle

1946 - 2023

Patrick Owen Doyle, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away on August 17, 2023 at the age of 77. He was born in Ontario, Canada on July 15, 1946 to the late Frank Doyle and Queenie Kerr Doyle. Patrick spent most of his childhood in Wyandotte, Michigan. He is the beloved husband of Barbara Doyle; cherished father of Jeffery Doyle (Jessica) and James Grimsley; proud grandfather of Elaine Doyle; and loving brother of Jeffery Doyle and the late Karen Scalise-Ganghamer. He is also survived by a host of extended family members and friends whom he loved greatly. Patrick bravely served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He earned a master's degree from the University of New Orleans. Patrick touched the lives of many students as an athletic coach and teacher at Northshore High School. He was an avid Saints, Cubs, and Red Wings fan. Patrick was a runner and participated in various races including the Crescent City Classic. He enjoyed watching NASCAR in his spare time but treasured nothing more than the time he spent with family and friends. Patrick will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Monday, September 25, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Audubon Funeral Home in Slidell.
