Paul Joseph Rodrigue

Paul Joseph Rodrigue passed away peacefully on July 31, 2021, at the age 84 years. Beloved husband of Rosalie Martinez Rodrigue. Son of the late Sonny J. Rodrigue and the late Mae Gauthe Rodrigue. Loving father of Debra R. Bailey (Frank) and Vickie R. Lawrence. Grandfather of Michael Jones (Melissa) and Geoffrey Bailey (Tracy). Great grandfather of Logan Peres (Bren) and Drew Jones. Brother of Thomas J. Rodrigue (Pam). Also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many dear friends. Paul loved his family and devoted his life to them. Paul was born in Napoleonville, LA and lived in Marrero, LA. He proudly served his country as a United States Marine. He was a member of American Legion Post #222. He worked in the automobile industry until his retirement. Paul was a devout, practicing Catholic. He will be forever remembered by his family and friends as a kind, compassionate and caring man. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lewy Body Dementia Association at www.lbda.org . The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of Tranquil Living and Compassus Hospice for their care and compassion. Friends and family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Exp., in Harvey on Friday at 11am. Visitation will begin at 9am.
