Pearl "Dear" Anderson, age 97 was born on December 14, 1923 in New Orleans, LA on the evening on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at Chateau De Notre Dame Nursing Home, God dispatched his angel Sister Pearl "Dear" Anderson to come on home peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior. Pearl was a usher and member of Pilgrim Progress Missionary Baptist Church and the Eastern Star Association until her health failed her. She was the wife of the late Henry Jones. Daughter of the late Mattie Thomas Anderson and West Anderson Sr. She leaves to cherish her beloved Grandchildren, Shedrick (Marion) Davis, Daron Davis, Sheralyn (the late Michael) Galle, Trina (Earl) Johnson, Rhonda Lynn, Kim (the late Isreal) White, Lisa Taylor and Jessie (Leshell) Taylor III. Also survived by 16 great-grandchildren, 34 great-great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-great- grandchildren and a host of cousins and other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her loving daughter Geraldine Anderson Taylor; 3 sisters; 4 brothers; 1grand daughter Kim Taylor; and 3 great-grandchildren Lil Shedrick, Jessie III and Jashawn. Due to city regulations, only a limited number of relatives, friends, and members of Chateau De Notre Dame and V.A. Medical Center are invited to attend the Funeral Services on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Gertrude Geddes Willis Funeral Home, 2120 Jackson Avenue at 10:00 a.m. Visitation from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Interment St. Louis #3 Cemetery. Due to COVID 19 all those are required to wear a face mask and to practice social distancing. You may sign the guest book on www.gertrudegeddeswillis.com.
