Percy Green Obituary

Percy Louis Green Jr. (Jhoney), an employee of Fed Ex transitioned from this life to join his heavenly father on December 31, 2014, 5:30 a.m. in Austin Texas, surrounded by family. Beloved son to the late Leah Soublet and Percy Green. Percy was a free spirited, kind and selfless person. Percy loved music, cooking, football, dance and family. He was an avid dog lover. A native of New Orleans he spent the past twenty-five years of his life in Austin Texas. Preceded in death by his eldest sister Daulette Green, he leaves in mourning his wife Corliss Wells, one son (Derrick), three siblings, Dana Green of Knoxville, Tn. , Dr. DeLyndia (Michael) Laughlin of New Orleans, La., Brandon Green of Austin, Tx one special niece Kaitlyn Elizabeth Laughlin of New Orleans, La., a dear uncle Errol (Denise) Harris of Texas and a close cousin Anthony Blanchard. Percy leaves behind a host of friends, aunts, uncles and cousins. A private burial was held at Our Lady of the Lourdes Mausoleum at St Vincent's Cemetery January 14, 2015. Celebrant of burial was done by Christ the King Church.
