Philip LaGrange Obituary

Philip E. LaGrange, 91, passed away on Wednesday, March 22nd, 2006 in Bay St. Louis, MS. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 60 years, Lolita Bosch LaGrange. He is survived by one son, Philip J. LaGrange of Pass Christian, MS.Mr. LaGrange, affectionately known as Pops by his many friends, was born in Abita Springs, LA on February 18th, 1915. He lived most of his life in New Orleans, LA and was a member of the Electrical Workers Union, Local 130 making a career in the electrical industry, in which he traveled around the country, working on various large scale projects. He was very proud of helping build the Twin Towers in New York City, The Super Dome in New Orleans, and several high rise hotels that feature revolving top floors. He was active in many civic organizations and clubs until moving to the coast in 1999. He will sadly be missed, but never forgotten by all that knew and loved him.Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the temporary location of Jacob Schoen and Son Funeral Home (Lamana-Panno-Fallo), 1717 Veterans Memorial Blvd., at Bonnabel Blvd., Metairie, LA on Monday, March 27, 2006 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM and to attend the Graveside Service at 2:00 PM at Lake Lawn Mausoleum, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, LA. Guest book may be signed on line at www.legacy.com.

I am so sorry to hear of the death of your father. Unfortunately, I did not get the news until after the funeral.
