Ralph Pere' Obituary

PERE' Coach Ralph M. Pere', 68, a native of Larose/Cut Off area and resident of Golden Meadow, died at 11:40 p.m. on Thursday, January 13, 2011. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Sue Theriot Pere'; sons, Reed M. Pere' and wife Jill, Tom P. Pere'; daughters, Kim P. Vice and husband Wayne, Leigh P. Dufrene and husband Shannon; brothers, Ronald J. Pere' and wife Deanie, Dominic "Nicky" Pere', III and wife Sarah; 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents: Dominic J, Pere', Jr., Thelma Delatte Pere' Guidry; and step-father, Freddie Guidry. He played football for L.S.U. from 1960-1963. He coached and taught at South Lafourche High School for 33 years. He was an avid fisherman. Visitation will be at Community Bible Church, Sunday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Monday from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. at the church with burial in the Church Cemetery. Please make in kind donations to South Lafourche High School Football Team. Samart-Mothe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
