Raymond Johnson Jr. Obituary

Raymond John Johnson, Jr., age 50, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, February 2, 2016, at his residence in Metairie, LA. Raymond was born on August 1, 1965, son of the late Raymond J. Johnson Sr. and Andree Schick Johnson. Raymond is survived by his beloved wife Victoria Facquet Johnson for the last 13 yrs. Proud and devoted father of Raymond John Johnson III. Brother of Janell J. Pretlove (Billy) and the Late Clarence L. Johnson, Son-in-law to Emmett and Patricia Facquet; brother-in-law Emmett Louis Facquet II (Melanie). Loving Uncle to Shane Pretlove, Jayme Pretlove Locoume (Arthur), Brandon Pretlove (Kelly), Dominik Facquet, Kathryn Facquet, and Emmett Facquet III. Also survived by many Aunts, Uncles, cousins, great nieces and nephews. Raymond was a parishioner of St. Philip Neri and a member of St. Christopher School Men's Club. The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff of East Jefferson General Hospital and Canon Hospice. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the Chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, on Friday, February 12, 2016 at 12:00 pm. Visitation will be on Thursday, February 11, 2016, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and then on Friday from 9:00 am until Mass time. Interment will follow in St. Louis Cemetery No. 3. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in memory of Raymond Johnson to The Foundation at East Jefferson General Hospital, 4200 Houma Boulevard, Metairie, LA 70006.
