Rene Stoute Obituary

STOUTE Rene Patrick Stoute passed away on Friday, February 29, 2008. Beloved husband of Jeanette Dubois Stoute of 43 years. Brother of Audrey Mae Duhon, Mary Vivian St. Romain, Jessie and Ralph Stoute. Mr. Stoute served in the LA National Guard for 8 years and was a food bank volunteer. Age 68 years. A native of Franklin, LA and a resident of Duson, LA and Gretna, LA. Relatives and friends of the family, also members of the Knights of Columbus of Duson, LA and Gretna, LA, Tulane Ray Hester and the Carpenters Union are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Monday, March 3, 2008 at 1:00PM. Interment in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Visitation at the funeral home on Monday from 9:00AM until Mass time. Information: 366-4343.

Uncle Pat - You were much more than my uncle. You were everyone's best friend and everyone's second father. No matter what was going on you always made sure to bring fireworks or something fun for us kids and always showed love. My last years of seeing you wear that picture of Jesus on your collar inspired me to get closer to Christ. You are physically gone but still live in our hearts and my prayers. You and Aunt Jeanette are loved, missed and remembered. I hope you and her are happy together and waiting for us to join you....Love
