1959 - 2022

Richard Thomas Wolf, born February 2, 1959 in Metairie, Louisiana, passed peacefully surrounded by his loving family on November 25, 2022 in Louisville, KY after a brief illness. Preceded in death by his daughter, Therese Joy; sister, Lydia; brother, David; and father, Neil Wolf, he leaves his beloved wife, Lori; children, Monica, Nicholas, Catherine (Rob), Sarah, Stephen, and Michael; and granddaughters, Freya, Gwen, Maren and Helena to cherish his memory, along with his mother, Helen Wolf; siblings Michael (Janet), Robert (Ralu), Claudia, Maria (Charlie), Cynthia (Joe), and their families, extended family, countless friends, and numerous business associates turned friends. Richard was a graduate of Cardinal Newman College in St. Louis, MO and earned his M.B.A. from National University in San Diego, CA. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps serving as a Field Artillery Officer, and cultivated a successful career in the beverage industry with companies such as PepsiCo, Perrier, and Dr. Pepper among others, taking his family on

adventures across the country and culminating in his position as General Manager/V.P. of Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, KY. Since 2009, Richard utilized his vast experience to provide consulting services to the craft distilling space, then in its infancy, leading many brands to receive awards and recognition. Richard was a parishioner at St. Louis Bertrand Catholic Church. He will be remembered as a good-humored and generous loyal friend and mentor to many. He was a dedicated and loving husband, father, and grandfather. He will be so missed. May His Memory Be Eternal. Richard requested a private funeral mass for the family.
