Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Kenneth Leach, pastor of Beulah Baptist Church. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 15, 2013 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 9891 Texas Hwy, Many, LA, from 6:00 until 10:00 PM. Mrs. King was preceded in death by her parents, John Lovelady and Minnie Bass Lovelady; husband, Thomas W. King; sisters, Bernice Rogers, Bertha Oliver, Estelle Brown, Eliza Melancon, Virgie Evans, and Inez Knopp. She is survived by her son, Timothy King and wife, Denise of Violet, LA; two grandchildren, Kristen Perez and husband, Troy Sr. of Gonzales, LA and Chana King of Violet, LA; 8 great grandchildren, Baylei, Alexis, Callie, Lanie, Troy, Jr., Gabrielle, Makayla, and Payten; three sisters, Jewel Hippler of Longview, Texas, Hazel Crouch of Longview, Texas, and Jean Crouch of Many, LA; and brother, J.V.
