Robert L. Butler

Senior Master Sergeant Robert L. Butler entered eternal rest on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at the age of 73. He was a proud alumnus of Booker T Washington High School. He served 37 years in the US Air Force. He was a former employee of the Grain Elevator, NOPSI/LP&L/Entergy, ServiceMaster, and entrepreneur. He was a faithful member of Abundant Life Tabernacle FGBC. Preceded in death by Beatrice Butler and Joseph Butler, Sr, Catherine Charlot, Henry Charlot, Sr, Sandra Harper, Melvin Butler, Ellis Butler, Sr; Janice Proby, Malcom Butler, Sr, Joanne Hamilton, Carol Charlot, Roslyn Sampson, and Giselle Charlot. From the union with Nelda C Butler came his pride and joy Zaneta B Williams (Timothy). With his beloved and devoted wife of 35 years, Joyce R Butler, created two daughters the apple of his eyes Joy L Butler and his saving grace Faith J Butler. Four precious grandchildren Imani Williams, Jordan Butler, Travis Thornton, Jr, and Justin Butler. He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, daughters, valued son-in-law, grandchildren, Aunt Sylvania Manchester, and siblings Joseph Jr. (Thelma), Leon, Sr, (Judy), and Carlos Butler.
