M. W. Robert M. Jefferson transitioned on Friday, February 9, 2024, at the age of 86. He was a native of Ponchatoula, LA and a resident of Avondale, LA. Robert was employed as a cab driver. MW Robert Jefferson 33rd Degree, dedicated his life to the masonic order and most importantly to God. Beloved husband of 56 years to Willie Mae Jefferson. Devoted father of Aaron M. Jefferson, Nora Ann Dejoie, and the late Robert Jefferson, Jr., and Robin Cooper. Grandfather of Angela Marie Joseph, Aaron Jefferson, Jr., Aaron Ferrari Jefferson, Aaron Matthew Jefferson, III, Tanya Jefferson, and Rachael Marie Dejoie. Great grandfather of Caleb Matthew Jefferson, Christopher Jacob Green, Cameron Emil Joseph, Ferrari Jefferson, Ferria Jefferson, Kalyn McCoy, Asia McCoy, Josiah Jefferson, and Hayley Brown. Son of the late Harry Jefferson, Sr. and Alice Brown. Brother of the Delores Harriet Jefferson and Harry Jefferson, Jr., also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Mt. Hermon Baptist Church, and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Mt. Hermon Baptist Church, 3512 US 90 Highway, Avondale, LA on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Darold A. Ingram, Jr. officiating.
