Bob Rathe was certainly one of the most outstanding and delightful members of our Jesuit High School class of 1945, and continued to be actively involved in the alumni as long as he could. He has been a credit to his family, his education, his Church. May God now reward him for his efforts.

Mr. Rathe was my customer 20 years ago when I was a broker for Hibernia downtown. He would occasionally stoll into our first floor office to request a quote or place a trade. He was a favorite visitor for all of us, with his sweet smile and gentleman's stature. I feel fortunate to have known him.
