Robert J. ''Bobby'' Roussel, at his residence on Wednesday, December 17, 2003. Age 77. Beloved husband of Helen Keller Roussel, son of the late Isabel and Oliver J. ''Cotton'' Roussel. Devoted father and father-in-law of Robert J., Jr. and Rita Roussel of LaPlace, La., Steven P. and Mary Roussel of Ponchatoula, La., Terry J. and Melanie Roussel of New Iberia, La., Cheryl R. and Teddy Taylor of Norco, La., and Joanie R. and Don Denoux of LaPlace, La. Loving grandfather of Jeffrey, Rusty, Robyn and Jonathan Roussel, Ryan and Alyssa Roussel, Jaimee R. Waldo, Allison, Andrew and Anne Catherine Roussel, PFC Jared Taylor, Corey Taylor, Jennie and Nikki Denoux. Great-grandfather of Josiah and Jesseca Waldo. Brother of Dorothy R. Ayme, Annabel R. Fuselier, Florette R. George, Delores R. Landeche and Gerald Roussel and also survived by a special friend Zeke Sims. He was a lifelong resident of Norco, La. and a retired supervisor of Shell Oil Company. He was also a member of The Knights of Columbus. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend funeral services. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am on Saturday, December 20, 2003 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Norco, La. Entombment to follow in St. Charles Borromeo Mausoleum, Destrehan, La. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9am until 11am. In Lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to The American Heart/Cancer Research. Arrangements under the direction of H.C.
