Robert Frank "Bob" Tully

Robert "Bob" Frank Tully passed away Friday, January 18, 2019 at the age of 77, spending his last days surrounded by his family and friends at his home in Ponchatoula, LA. Beloved husband of Shirley Chauvin Tully for 54 years. Father of Ray Smith (Janet), Toni Lynn Tully, Ethel Agnes Fey, Todd Anthony Tully (Tabitha Williams), Thomas Joseph Tully (Krysti DeSoto), and Jessie Marie Jube. Grandfather of Ericka Marie Smith-Livingston (Brandon), James Robert Nuzzo, Britny Marie Durbin (Kyle), David Lee Kidwell, Santana Raphael Garcia, Isaiah Cruz Garcia, Jessica Emoni Murray, Tommy Murray, Quinton Robert Tully, Todd Arthur Tully (Louise), Kiara Williams, Feanix Joseph Barger, Xander Ulysis Tully, Brandon Travis Jube, and Shawn Michael Jube. Great-grandfather of Van Ray Livingston, Axl Lee Livingston, Kira Lynn Durbin, Ezri Ana Durbin, Aria Rose Tully, Hayes Michael Tully, and Cora Claire Tully. Robert was born in Galveston, TX on July 1, 1941. Son of the late Robert August Tully and Anita "Mary" Curty. Brother of Ray Leon Tully (Liz). Robert spent the majority of his career as a Tug Boat Captain, traveling up and down the Mississippi River. To all who met him, Robert was a very loving and caring man which made him an excellent and confident role model. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, camping, and fishing in Grand Isle. He has a marvelous sense of humor and adventure. Robert will forever be loved and greatly missed by all who knew him. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy, Harvey LA on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at 1:30 PM.
