ROUSSELL Roland Roussell, Sr. departed this earthly life and entered into rest on Sunday, December 24, 2006 at his residence in Mt. Airy, La. Beloved husband of Mary Roussell of Mt. Airy, La. Loving father of Roland Roussell, Jr. of Vacherie, La., Zenobia Gray of Laplace, La., Monique McDonald of Jackson, Ms., Pamela Roussell, Shantrese Roussell and Jason Roussell, all of Mt. Airy, La. Son of the late Mazie Roussell and Junius Roussell, Sr. Step-son of Wilma Edward of Mt. Airy, La. Brother of Marie Joseph, Junius Roussell, Jr., John Roussell, Zenobia Taylor, Eugene Roussell and the late Veronica Joseph and Georgia Ann Rixner. Also survived by 11 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also members of the Jehovah Witnesses Lutcher Congregation Kingdom Hall and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral services on Thursday, December 28, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Jehovah Witnesses Lutcher Congregation Kingdom Hall, 2963 Admirals Landing Street, Paulina, La. Interment in St. Peter Cemetery of Reserve, La. Visitation will be at Jehovah Witnesses Lutcher Congregation Kingdom Hall from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Bardell's Mortuary of Mt. Airy, La. Auntie Mary, Roland Jr., Pam, Zenobia, Monique, Jason, and Shantrese, words will never express how I feel and I cannot imagine how you are feeling or what your are going through; but in your time of sorrow I can only pray. I will also remember all of the fun times and the childhood memories (especially the fishing trips) those will never be loss. In your quiet times, dwell on those memories to get you through the tough times. Anyway, that's what I plan to do. I love you guys and I will miss my uncle with his special smile that made you smile back. Uncle Roland's had a big heart and his love for you will always remain. God bless you all.
