Ron Tate Obituary

Ron Oneal Tate entered eternal rest on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at the age of 50. He was a native of Marrero, LA and a resident of Laplace, LA. Ron was a graduate of Higgins High School and owner and operator of the trucking company Ronyal Father's Transportation. He was also employed with Slay Transportation. Ron was a member of 504 Boyz/Dirty South Riderz. Beloved husband of Robbin Taylor Tate. Devoted father of Floronquia Battle Alexis. Cherished grandfather of Laron Battie, Ty'rian and Melodei Alexis. Son of the late Oneal and Sherry Tate. Grandson of the late Willie and Alice Smith, Obie and Melvina Tate. Loving brother of Marvin Tate, Shannon Tate, Keenya Turner, and the late Nachonda Tate. Ron is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Shiloh Christian Fellowship, Destiny Christian Center, and all neighboring churches; members of 504 Boyz/Dirty South Ridez are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Shiloh Christian Fellowship, 2441 N. Claiborne Avenue, New Orleans, LA on Friday, October 18, 2024, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Michael Raymond, officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the church.
