Deacon Ron was a kind and gentle person who was truly respectful of everyone. It was a pleasure to be in his presence and to serve on the Multi-Cultural Committee and other parish activities with him. I found his eagerness to celebrate the diversity of the Church inspiring. I will miss him, but he will always have a special place in my heart.

He was a wonderful friend. My brothers and I grew up @ the corner house at 248 Dorrington Blvd. Just 1/2 block from Ron. He was at my house a lot. Sort of a gathering place for the guys in the neighborhood. So many wonderful memories. My friends and I were always folding clothes in the basement where my brothers had their bedroom. The guys would always come over to hang out. They were so clueless back then. As if my friends wanted to help me fold clothes. Lots of happy memories.

Met Ron about 1997 at St. Luke and never saw him without that winning smile and easygoing nature. He was a positive influence on all he met and the young he taught at SMM. We know Ron is resting in the bosom of our LORD and offering prayers for us all. We will be missing you for a long time Ron.

I remember when Ron made the decision to become a deacon. You could see and feel this was the perfect decision for Ron. Kind, gentle and a loving man. Ron served so many in our community well. I will miss his genuine smile and warm handshake. He will be missed by not only his family but by our parish, which he greatly enriched. Until we see you again buddy.

Mary Ann & family -
My sincerest condolences. You all remain in my prayers. Ron was such a compassionate, gentle soul who was always there for his fellow man, especially those in need. Especially grateful for his ministerial visits to the hospital when our family needed God's presence. He had a knack for knowing the exact message one needed to hear. The Lord's arms opened wide to welcome him home and to offer much gratitude to His "..good and faithful servant!" May his rest in peace. God bless each of you. So many love you and are here if you need us.

It was a privilege to know Deacon Ron. He prayed for my sister who died of breast cancer in April. He felt the pain I felt. He was very compassionate. I miss him already.
