PORTER Ronald "Chilly Roach" Porter departed this life on Sunday November 9, 2008, at West Jefferson Medical Center. Beloved husband of Sandra Walker Porter. Loving father of Jeffery, Kema, Erica, Tory, Trey and Teron. Son of the late Warren David and Gertrude Alexander Porter. Brother of Geraldine Porter of Bridge City, La., Donald Porter (Wendy) of Avondale, La., and Melvin Samuel Richard of New York. Brother-in-law of Irma Mitchel of Conroe, Tx., Charles James, Debra Walker Donn (Kevin), Ethel Walker (David), Thomas Walker, Jr., Melanie Walker, and the late Doretha Mitchel and Wilbert Meredith. Also survived by seven grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousin, other relatives and friends. Age 55 years. A native of Bridge City, La. and a resident of Marrero, La. Relatives and friends of the family, also priest and parishioners of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Jesus is Lord Ministry and all neighboring churches; employees of West Jefferson Medical Center, Avondale Shipyard, Toys R Us, Home Depot, Rainbow Rental, and Dollar General are invited to attend Funeral Services from Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, La., on Saturday, November 15, 2008 at 10:00A.M.
