Rosa L. Gamble

LEXINGTON – Funeral services for Rosa L. Gamble, 77, will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel with interment to follow in Southland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Gamble was born January 31, 1940 in Hartsville, SC and passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2017. She was a daughter of the late Robert E. and Jettie Mae Atkinson Stratton. Mrs. Gamble was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Lexington, and worked at Horsman Dolls. Mrs. Gamble is survived by her daughters, Deborah Gainey and Debra Roof, both of Lexington; sons, Thomas Gainey, Melvin Gainey and Mark Chavis, all of Lexington; sister, Betty Morgan of Kannapolis, NC; eight grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband, Clyde Gamble; two children, two brothers and a sister.
