Rosario Cajina

Rosario, otherwise known as Rosie, lost her battle to cancer and passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family on February 4th, 2021 at the age of 70. She was the beloved wife of Juan J. Cajina Reyes for 47 years. Mother of Milena Axinn (Alexander), Juan Antonio Cajina (deceased), Victoria Ordonez (Javier), Pablo Cajina (Norma), and Linda Sanchez (Carlos). Grandmother of Benjamin, Juan Carlos, Julian, Christian, Leonardo, Karla and "Frijolito". Daughter of the late Pablo Aguerri and Bertha Solorzano Aguerri. Sister of Mercedes Aguerri Gutierrez (Emilio) and the late Berta Aguerri of Nicaragua. Rosie is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Rosie's healthcare team especially Dr. Kimberly Freeman and Dr. Alejandra Del Toro, Dr. and Mrs. Robert Eubanks, and all of the people who had faithfully prayed for her well being. A service will be celebrated by Rosie's cousin and Pastor, Dr. Robert Eubanks at her much-loved Faithbuilders Adventist Church located at 123 North Lester Ave in Metairie on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at noon. Visitation with the family will precede from 10am-12pm. Per Rosie's request, a private burial will follow. Like Rosie, we look forward to the Second Coming of Christ when we will all be reunited with her for eternity.
