Rubi Arceli Pinto Laino, departed this life on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at the Sanctuary at Passage Hospice in New Orleans La. She was 71 years old. She was born on September 11, 1949 in La Lima Honduras and was a longtime resident of New Orleans La. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed. Daughter of the late Ernesto Mayorga and Herminia Pinto. Devoted wife of Luis Laino. Beloved mother of Sayra Pinto, Carlos Pinto (Nellie) and Anie Melissa Buffinet (Keith Jr.). Stepmother of Renie Ramirez Sr., Benigna Laino, Jose Laino (Jessica) and Nemesia Gutierrez (Eddy). Grandmother of David Maldonado, Layla Buffinet, Malayna Buffinet, Kaleb Buffinette, Corina Pinto, Carlos Pinto, Ethan Pinto and Zoe Pinto. Step grandmother of Josue Woodard, Larissa Laino, Jose Laino Jr., Nathan Peterson, Alexis Freeman, Angelica Ramirez, Renie Ramirez Jr., Aimme Ramirez, Kayla Forestall, Reginald Forestall III, Guiana Vives, Lucas Gutierrez, Elena Gutierrez and Sofia Gutierrez. Devoted aunt of Jose Luis Pinto (Laurie) and Johnathan Rapalo. She is also survived by her siblings, several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service on Sunday January 31, 2021 at Robinson Family Funeral Home located at 9611 Hwy 23, Belle Chasse La. 70037 at 12 noon.
