Steve, Pricilla, Mrs Batiste and The Batiste Family

May the memories you have of your loved one keep him alive in your hearts forever. Remember that death is not the end ...it is the beginning of a new life with God. It is not goodby...just so long and not a time for sadness but a time to rejoice because for him there will be no more sorrow and no more pain.

God loves you and we do too. May His love be a source of peace, comfort and strength. You are in our hearts and our prayers today and always.

I would like to offer my heartfelt sympathies to the Batiste Family. I was one of the ushers at St. Jude Church with Mr. Batiste. I often wondered what happened to him after Katrina hit and I saw the damage to his home.I'm sure that devastation to his home must have hurt him badly. I guess I will always think about him for his phone calls to me to fix his neckties. I will miss his calls. He was very easy to talk to and a very friendly person. May God Bless his family at this sad time.
