Ruth Thevenot Zech

ZECH Ruth Thevenot Zech departed this world on Thursday afternoon, October 15, 2009 at the age of 89. Ruth was born in Cottonport, La. in 1920. She was a lifelong resident of Metairie and resided at Forest Manor Nursing Home in Covington, La. from 2005 - 2009. Ruth was preceded in death by her loving husband: Fred Zech, her parents: Charles and Adez Thevenot; her brother Lebon Thevenot; sisters Leona Dessella and Hilda Drouin; and her beloved son-in-law Terry Johnson. She leaves behind to cherish her memories, her only daughter, Adele Zech Johnson; son Fred Zech and wife Carol; grandsons: Christopher R. Johnson and Kurt Zech and wife Kerie; granddaughters: Lori Zech and partner Renne' Thompson and Gretchen Zech; great-grandsons: Garrett Johnson and Brandon Zech; and a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Sunday, October 18, 2009 at 12:00 p.m. at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, (in Metairie Cemetery).
