I'll never forget our fishing trip to the Flares out of Hopedale. Craig, myself, and John Porter went out for an overnight fishing trip, but we forgot to check the weather report and low and behold we got caught in a major storm offshore. Craig guided us back through torential rain and lighting. Craig was a fun guy to be around with his quick wit and humorous ways. He was a good friend and he will be missed by everyone that had the pleasure of knowing him.

Dear Pisa Family,
I just found out about Craig and am saddened by your loss. I was good friends with Craig at Rummel and was in a fraternity with him. I recall many good times. Sure was fun hanging around with him. I remember spending time at the house on Athenia Parky. and his mother was always so nice. Craig had this blue Thunderbird car that he detested but I thought was great especially for a high school kid. I lost touch after college but would see him out sometimes always with a smile. Craig was a great companion for my high school years and I will recall those times with a smile.

My sister and I have known Craig since Kindergarten at Ferncrest and I Was with him for 3 years at Rummel. We were there for him when his dad was killed. When my sister called to say she saw his obit I was floored. My memories of your husband span 55years,they bring a smile to my face and he will be missed by all who knew him. Lisa,
I am Craig's cousin from Houston. My mother and grandmother are from New Orleans so my sister and I used to come there in the summer with my grandmother. We stayed with Mary Pisa, Craig's grandmother and we used to go to Craig's house when they lived off of Airline. During college, one of my fraternity brothers and I came to New Orleans and Craig put us up in the boat house at the lake and got us in the Playboy Club. The last time I saw him was when we had the family reunion in Baton Rouge. My brother and I were talking about him today and my brother did a search on his name to see if we could find and phone number for him and the obituary came up. Then a little while later, another cousin, Chelsea Trombino Gardner, called and had just heard from Pam Guidry about Craig's death. My thoughts are with you and your sons, he was a great guy.

Lisa and Family, I am deeply saddened at your loss. Although I hadn't seen Craig in years, he was a great guy with a witty sense of humor. I met him through his dealings with Larry Hooper, Bruce Naccari and others in Jefferson Parish. You and your family will all be in my prayers.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.
