I am home in Heaven, dear ones;
Oh, so happy and so bright!
There is perfect joy and beauty
In this everlasting light.

All the pain and suffering is over
Every restless tossing passed;
I am now at peace forever,
Safely home in Heaven at last.

Did you wonder I so calmly
Trod the valley of the shade?
Oh! but Jesus' love illumined
Every dark and fearful glade.

And he came Himself to meet me
In that way so hard to tread
And with Jesus' arm to lean on
Could I have one doubt or dread?

Then you must not grieve so sorely,
For I love you dearly still:
Try to look beyond earth's shadows,
Pray to trust our Father's will.

There is still work waiting for you,
So you must not idly stand;
Do it now, while life remaineth-
You shall rest in Jesus' land.

When that work is completed,
He will gently call you home;
Oh, the rapture of that meeting,
Oh, the joy to see you come!

June 5, 2012

To Annie Cook and the Cook Family;
May the peace which comes from the memories of love shared comfort you now and in the days ahead.

To Doris Cook and Family Your mother is not suffering anymore, she has now left her house to be in God's house, for his house their are many mansions. For our citizenship is in Heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself. To Willie & the Cook Family

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

In Loving Memory of Your Mother
Mrs. Sadie Cook

Her Journey's Just Begun, Don't think of her as gone away- her journey's just begun, life holds so many facets- this earth is only one.

Just think of her as resting from the sorrows and the tears in a place of warmth and comfort where there are no days and years.,

Think how she must be wishing that we could know today how nothing but our sadness can really pass away.

And think of her as living in the hearts of those she touched, for her love we all shared is never lost- and she was loved just as much.

Those we love don't go away, They walk beside us every day, Unseen, unheard, but always near, Still loved, still missed and very dear.

To the Cook Family Ms. Cook worked with me until she retired from SVTC. I went to school with Willie. Sometimes it's hard to under why certain things must be, But there is a reason for it all beyond our power to see. The blow was hard, the shock severe you never thought her death was so near. But only those who have lost can tell the pain of parting without farewell. Barbara Copeland PHS class of "70
