MARTIN Samuel "Sam" "Boy" Martin, Jr., a retired truck driver, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at 3:29 a.m. at Louisiana Specialty Hospital. He was 63. Mr. Martin was born in Frisco, La. Loving son of August Samuel Martin, Sr. and the late Mary J. Batiste Martin. Loving father of Derrick S., Donna M., Debra A., Desmond S. Sr. (Ronnika), and Dominque M. Martin. Stepfather of Orlando Williams. Grandfather of Destiny, Diamond and Desmond S. Jr. Proud brother of Lillie-Mae M. Lang (Nolan), Alerion A. Martin, Gabriel Martin all of Baton Rouge, La. Extended siblings: Demetrius M. Wilson (Leroy), Clinton Overton (Tawanda), Ricky J. Overton (Debra), Sheldon J. Martin (Julia), and Jamie T. Martin all of Baton Rouge, La. Loving devoted companion Marilyn Williams. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
