I join with so many others who knew Supt. Richardson in offering my deepest sympathy on his passing. Although it is little consolation at this sad time, it should be of some satisfaction to know that in his passing you can celebrate the end of a very long and productive life of a soldier gone home.

The measure of his well-lived life was not in how much money he had or what possessions he had accumulated, but rather through the lives he touched and the legacy he leaves behind.

If the outpouring of sympathy on his loss is any indication, and it most certainly is, you can proudly and confidently say that he was truly one of those in Revelation 7:14.

To the Richardson Family:

I met Mr. and Mrs. Richardson one time. One time only. I met Mr. Richardson with Mrs. Richard at a restaurant in Covington, LA. He was a very dignified and common man. He did not brag, he shared some wisdom and as he left, I asked his profession and when he identified himself, I was so proud to have me him.

I know he was a wonderful man based on his successes heard of before I met him and his mannerism and display of respect for everyone around him.

May your family rejoice in his passing into our Lord's home and may I have the opportunity to join such a wonderful man upon my passing. May God bless the family through these difficult time.
