On Saturday, May 6th, 2023 Sandra Robertson Rivoire took her last breath at home while holding the hand of her beloved niece, Lytanya. Mrs. Sandra, born August 8th, 1948 was affectionately known as "Tonti" by many and "Granny" by her great niece and nephews. This beautiful woman with a generous heart loved to shop and gift those she cared for. Bath and Body Works was one of her favorite stores, she would have stockpiles of hand lotion and body sprays for her family, church members and those she called friends. Mrs. Sandra was an educated woman who graduated from Xavier University with an MA in Social Work. Her desire to serve, created a quite fulfilled life and allowed her to merge her christian faith with her professional career in a program called "One Church One Child". She dedicated over 25 years of her life to foster care and adoptions, placing many children in their forever homes. After retirement, Mrs. Sandra continued her Mission work in her church home, Second Free Missionary Baptist Church. She loved the Lord, believed in the power of prayer and as her health began to fail her, she never stopped praying. She lived to see 74 years when the doctors didn't think she would make it to 70. Whose report shall you believe? God's report, that's who and when God said, "Well done my good and faithful servant, it's time to come home" Mrs. Sandra left this earth peacefully with a smile on her face. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, (Sylvester and Willia Robertson); ex-husband, Delmaine Rivoire; only sister, Sylvia Robertson Wilbon; brother in-law, Willie L. Wilbon, Jr. and her precious furbaby, Neako. She leaves to cherish her memory, niece, (Lytanya Wilbon); nephew, Trazarra Wilbon; great niece, Rhynea Smith; two great nephews, Trey and Caleb Smith. Mrs. Sandra was loved by many and will be forever missed. All relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral.
