I was privileged to work as a paralegal with Sean when he was just a baby associate at Liskow and I was a rather "old" paralegal. Unlike so many young attorneys, he valued my experience and knowledge and always treated me with respect. He did try his Irish charm on me, trying to convince me to interview a pro bono murder suspect client at OPP. Having done that before and not wanting to ever do that again, I was finally able to persuade him how valuable his visit would be ultimately for his career (guilting was involved). He was such a special person and I'm sorry we lost touch over the years. My heartfelt prayers for his family after such a devastating loss. God bless you all.

It´s impossible to find the right words to convey a person´s personality and worth in a few lines; even harder to describe how much you´ll miss them and all the reasons why. Sean and I were business associates, but I also considered him a friend, and I know the feeling was mutual. When we worked together, he often took the time to let me know I´d done a good job for him. Those comments were very much appreciated. I don´t know of many attorneys who, while working hard on a deadline - on a Saturday afternoon no less - would take the time to stop and send a court reporter an email to let her know that the transcripts she produced in the case he was working on were above and beyond what he expected, and issue a sincere "Thank you" for the effort.
He was kind-hearted and thoughtful in all of my dealings with him, and I know this extended to everyone he came across. My heart goes out to his beloved family, and I extend my most sincere and deepest sympathies to them on this unexpected loss of a wonderful father, husband and human being.
