Sheila Wilkinson Williams

1926 - 2020

Sheila Wilkinson Williams passed away in North Carolina September 8, 2020 surrounded by loved ones. Sheila was born on January 21, 1926 and a lifelong resident of New Orleans living along Bayou St. John and Lake Vista. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Robert Milton Williams, her father, Hugh Miller Wilkinson Sr, her mother Dudley Wilson Wilkinson, her brothers Hugh Miller Wilkinson Jr (Gloria), James Wilkinson III (Jean), John Fletcher Bosworth Wilkinson (Susan), and her sister Leila Wilkinson Scheyd (Bill). She is survived by her daughters, Wendelin Williams (John), Sheila Williams Beyer (James), and Leila Elizabeth Williams. Four grandchildren, Katherine Beyer Evans, James Colin Beyer, Eric Wilkinson Beyer, Madelaine Rose Dunado, and one great grandchild, William Connor Evans. She was also a loving Aunt and Great Aunt to numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Sheila's Life on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church at 6249 Canal Blvd in New Orleans.
