Shirley Contranchis Obituary

Shirley Autin Contranchis passed away peacefully on January 31, 2018 at the age of 74. Beloved wife of the late Horace J. Contranchis. Mother of Brenda Contranchis (Huey Bethancourt), Kathy Gisclair (Mark) and the late Linda Contranchis. Grandmother of Mark Jr. (Tamera), Cody and the late Chad Sr. Great-grandmother of Chad Jr. and Gabrielle. Sister of Russell Autin Sr. (Linda) and Clayton Autin (Yonnie). Daughter of the late Gladys Pierce Autin and Victor Autin. Aunt of Sandra, Russell Jr. (Lauren), Dawn, Crystal (Tim) and the late Clayton Jr. Also survived by Kevin Barrios, Paulette Jackson, Angela (Jonathan), Marie (Greg) and Aaron along with other loving relatives and friends. She was a resident of Crown Point, LA for 67 years and most recently, worked for Boomtown Casino. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Visitation at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 8151 Barataria Blvd. in Crown Point on February 16, 2018 from 11 am until 12 Noon. Dear,Mrs. Shirley on 1-31-18,I watched you snore so,went off to work,not knowing that,10:40 am,you left this world to meet Jesus. I knew you where at peace and ready to go away,about three days pior in our conversation.I didn't expect to see you depart just yet,I knew all the stories that you heard me tell you,about the kingdom of god would help you in find the pathway to salvation.Rest in Peace and Enjoy your reunited life and new body in Christ,Where now you see there is no more pain and suffering.When your life past away everything flashed about your past, God saw your heart was kind and sincere not like hearts you encounter in this life,so enjoy the boat rides and wine vineyards of paradise with Horace,Chad Sr,Linda,Jesus.
