Solomon James Harris, affectionately known as "Cookie", was born on January 9, 1967, and peacefully entered eternal rest on Thursday, January 5, 2023. He was 55 years old and a resident of Marrero, La. Son of Artha Mae Harris Henderson and the late Lawrence Henderson, Jr. Brother of David (Tammy) Harris, Onita Harris, and Cynthia (Johnny) Ware. Uncle of Shanice Triplett and Deja Harris. Also survived by his caregiver, Alanda Gabriel, three uncles, Warren (Rose) Harris, Sidney Harris, and Glen Henderson; and six aunts, Margie Richardson, Clarise Owens, Blanche Jenkins, Pam Chappelle, Michelle, and Jackie Henderson, as well as a host of cousins and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also employees of A-1 Absolute Best Care, are invited to attend the celebration of life services which will be held on Friday, January 13, 2023, at Robinson Family Funeral Home, 9611 LA-23, Belle Chasse, LA 70037. The visitation will begin at 9 a.m., and the service will begin at 11 a.m. Pastor Ivy Wilson Jr., officiating and interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Avondale, LA.
