1969 - 2024

In Loving Memory of Stephanie Ann Seghers who passed away on January 15, 2024 at 54 years of age. Stephanie was born in New Orleans on April 28, 1969 and was preceded in death by her mother, Madeline Seghers. She is survived by her father, John Seghers, her sister, Sabrina Brough, nephews, Rex and Jax Brough, along with aunts, uncles, and cousins. Stephanie's heart was as special as the day she was born - filled with kindness, generosity and selflessness. She had a remarkable ability to see the best in people, genuinely accepting everyone with an open heart, open arms, and a perpetual smile. A devoted dog lover, Stephanie shared a deep connection with her beloved dog, Thibodeau. She loved country music, with a special fondness for Keith Urban. She had a zest for life, and deeply appreciated spending time with friends and family. She was passionate about Mexican Cuisine, especially tacos. Her smile and laughter brought joy to everyone. Stephanie was an active member of the Turner Syndrome Society in Louisiana as well as a valued member of the Bible Fellowship Group in Metairie. Her spiritual journey and Christian faith brought her profound meaning and solace. She was a graduate of Archbishop Chapelle High School class of 1988 and went on to earn her Bachelor's degree from the University of New Orleans. She dedicated over 20 years of her life to healthcare, most recently at Crescent City Surgery Center, touching the lives of those she served. Relatives and friends are invited to honor her memory at the visitation and memorial mass on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at Lake Lawn Funeral Home located at 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70124. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am followed by mass at 1:00 pm. Stephanie will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She was an earth angel who is now flying with the angels above.
