Susie Jones Obituary

Susie Ann Jones was born on July 18, 1952 to the late Morris, Sr. and Annie Jane Javers. Wife of the late Reginald Jones, Sr. Sister of the late Vincent Javers. Mother of the late Franklin Nell Davis and Adrian Gerald Davis. Susie was a retired phone operator at Hyatt Regency of New Orleans. She was a graduate of Joseph S. Clark High School and a member of St Matthews Missionary Baptist Church. Susie was such a beautiful soul and would give you her last if you needed it. Her smile was contagious and she will forever live in our hearts. Mrs. Jones leaves to cherish her memory, daughter Trevionna Jones; grandchildren, Franklin Barnes, Adrian Davis, Anija Davis, Jamal Julian, Nasir Davis and Darnell Andrews and a host of great grandkids; Siblings, Glory Mae Javers, Lilly Javers, Patricia Thompson, Ida Celestine, Leasther Javers, Morris Javers, Jr. and Robert Javers. The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers, calls, texts and encouraging words through this difficult time. We greatly appreciate all the love and support received. All are invited to attend a Celebration service honoring the life and legacy of the late Mrs. Susie Ann Jones in the Chapel of Charbonnet Labat Glapion Funeral Home, 1615 St. Philip Street, New Orleans, LA 70116 0n Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 10 am. Interment Providence Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation 9 am in the chapel.
