PESCE Teresa Calcutta "Baby Tess" Pesce was born on December 4, 2013, and passed away in her mother's arms on December 5, 2013. In her to short time on this earth, Baby Tess was a constant source of love and faith for her family. She inspired deeper appreciation for the sanctity of life, particularly the marginalized and distressed; showed her family the breadth of God's blessings for them on this earth, especially the love and support of caring friends; taught her siblings the beauty (through joy and suffering) of absolute and unconditional love. Hers was a too brief, but abundantly meaningful, life - concisely lived. Our beloved Tess is survived by her parents (Lynne and Stephen), her siblings (Allison, Annie, and Will), her grandparents (Anne and Jack Dardis, and Janet and Jerry Pesce), and one great-grandmother (Rosie Charbonnet), along with a host of supporting aunts, uncles, and cousins. Her parents would like to express their gratitude for the unending love, prayers, and support that they and Tess have received over the past several months from family, friends, fellow parishioners, medical staff, and even strangers. Services will be held on Monday, December 9, 2013, at St. Clement of Rome Church, Metairie. Visitation begins at 9:30 am, followed by the celebration of Mass at 10:30 am. Private interment immediately following at St. Patrick Cemetery #3, New Orleans. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the charity of your choice that cherishes the sanctity of all life.
