Terry Forbes Obituary
Mr. Terry Lee Forbes of Carson, VA, passed away suddenly Sunday, May 6, 2018 near his home setting. Terry “Lee” Forbes was born October 20, 1957 in Prince George, VA, to the late Susie Tazewell Forbes and Louis Forbes. He was educated at Dinwiddie County Public Schools.
Terry “Lee” was employed for many years at Bank of Southside Virginia as a Grounds & Maintenance person. He also worked as a laborer for Mr. Ronnie Peck and he as a valuable employee and devoted friend for many years.
Terry, affectionately called “Lee” by his family and close friends, enjoyed telling jokes, taking long joy rides with his devoted friend Mr. Ronnie “Foots” Brown, gardening, outdoors activities and family gatherings.
He was preceded in death by his father, Louis Forbes; mother, Susie Tazewell Forbes and three brothers, Jerry Tazewell, Larry Forbes and Gary Forbes, Sr.
Terry “Lee” Forbes is survived by his loving family: a sister, Camilla Morris of Hopewell, VA; brothers, Louis “Donnie” Forbes of Petersburg, VA, and Dennis Forbes (Loretta) of Jacksonville, FL; two devoted friends, Ronnie “Foots” Brown and Ronnie Peck; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
Service will be held 2:00 P.M., Saturday, May 12, 2018 in the Chapel of J. M. Wilkerson Funeral Establishment, Inc., 102 South Avenue, Petersburg, VA, Apostle Vincent M. Wyche, eulogist. Interment will be private.
The family will assemble 1:30 P.M. the day of the service at the funeral establishment. The family will also receive friends at 1358 Rome Street, Petersburg, VA.

I can't believe almost 6 years have passed by without your shining smile and your loyal friendship. Still miss you terribly but our Lord had different plans. Lily and I still think of you daily as we love up on Cuddles the precious kitten (now full grown and still mischievous) you "gifted" Lily when we stopped by to visit. I think you set me up on that one when you said Lily have you seen my kittens. Take one home. We've loved her ever since. So grateful to have a part of you still with us. Even though you growled about them you're love and caring for God's creatures shone thru. It was the same with you're friends and family. You truly cared about people and their happiness. I am blessed and honored to have had you as a friend here on earth and can't wait to see you again in heaven. Until then my cherished friend. I love you

Terry Lee will be greatly missed. We are saddened at this loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with Terry's family and close friends. Terry was a kind and good hearted man. Quiet in spirit but would break his back to help anyone! I grew up around Terry Lee and our family loved him. He loved to have a good time and always had a joke to share. To the family- my condolences and prayers are with each of you. He will be missed dearly!

What a tremendous loss this earthly world suffered and what a beautiful Angel heaven gained on Sunday. Terry Lee's beautiful smile, sense of humor and friendship will be so missed.
