Carol,

Thank you for the beautiful message in remembrance of Thomas. Thank you also for the lovely floral basket sent for his funeral mass. We did not see on the basket a way to reach you to express our thanks, but hope that you will see this message and know how much your thoughtfulness and generosity means to our family.

Please continue to keep us in prayer as we will do for you. May your warm memories of Thomas bring you comfort and peace.

I worked with Thomas in Dallas, Texas at the OCC. I was sadden and shocked to hear of his recent passing. Thomas always lit up the room when he entered, and was always such a joy to be around. His laughter was contagious! Rest in peace Thomas, you will be missed. God bless the entire family.

I will always remember Scoob for his imposing presence, intelligence, good humor and easy-going nature. I met him through his cousin/brother Lawrence during high school years. While I remember Scoob as a private person, he was also a warmhearted person and a pleasure to be around. I have not seen Scoob in over 25 years but always felt connected with him through my friendship with Lawrence.

I express my sincere condolence to his Mother, sisters and family members. No one understands why The Lord takes "the good" from this earth when he does. Scoob was a good man whose passing will be felt by many.

Words cannot express my heartfelt loss of my true and lifelong friend. We were friends for almost 50 years (since grade school) and he is more my brother than friend. Scoob, along with Mrs Lee, Claudette, and Ellen were my second family. My condolences go out to the entire Lee, Woodfork, and Epps Families. Thomas is now in God's embrace. Rest in peace, my brother.
