Thomas Ronald Raley

Thomas Ronald Raley passed away peacefully at 3:36am on February 20, 2023 at the age of 78. Born in Opp, Alabama on March 29, 1944, he was predeceased by Thomas Franklin Raley (father) and Elsa Corenor Stinson (mother) and by brothers Clinton Harold Raley and Paul James Raley. He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Barbara Nowak Pitre Raley. Loving father to Kimberly Catherine Raley Dayries (Blaine) and step-father to Amy Pitre Bancroft (Sean) and Chris Pitre (Bobbie). Beloved grandfather to Brendan and Brady Dayries, Kathryn and Emily Bancroft, and Valerie Claire Pitre and her mother, Amanda Day Pitre. Survived by one brother, Orvia Gerald Raley. He will be missed by his niece Jennifer Raley Jones. Survived also by nephews Brian Raley, Clint Raley, and Chad Raley. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be sent in his name to Louisiana Lions Camp at https://lionscamp.org/support-the-louisiana-lions-camp or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 25. 2023 at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70124.
