Thomas E. "Polo" Williams, Jr. entered eternal rest on December 31, 2023, at the age of 90. He was a lifelong resident of New Orleans. He was born to the late Thomas, Sr and Marie Carlson Williams. Devoted husband of Dorothy Pinkney Williams for 71 years. Father of late Denise Williams, Sandra Schexnayder, Kelvin (Katherine) Williams, Leatrice (Lionel) Zarders, Maurice, Merlin (Casetta), and Dianne Williams. Grandfather of, Kaonta (Karl) Simmons, Keshon Williams, Natasha, Norvell, Nirionne (Kenneth) Schexnayder, Netthany (Darry) Jackson, Nakeeva (Derek) Warren, Rhyeesa, Sabrina Williams, Dwayne (Ashley) and Dawana Jackson, late Lance Zarders, Myra, Merletta, Merlin Williams, late Felecia Williams, great-grandfather of 23 and great-great grandfather of 1, and a host other relatives and friends. He was employed by Avondale Shipyards until retirement. Family and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Homegoing Celebration of Life Service on Wednesday January 10, 2023, for 1:00 p.m. at The Boyd Family Funeral Home 5001 Chef Menteur Hwy.
