Tina Pierre Obituary

Tina Ostarly Pierre, beloved mother of Dawn Villers and grandmother of the late Ricky Lee Villers, Jr., passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2015. She was 76. Daughter of the late Eleanor and Frank J. Sanders. Former wife and best friend of Franklin Ostarly. Sister of Frank J. Sanders and the late Ron and Bobby Sanders. Sister-in-law of Nancy Sanders, Rena Sanders and the late Debbie Sanders. Aunt of Angela Sanders Barrios (Chris), Nicole Sanders Lee (Mike) and Bobby Sanders, Jr. (Angela). Great aunt of Brooklyn, Giuliana, Charlotte, Mia, Makenna and Bobby III. Stepmother of Celeste Ostarly Schindler. Tina was a resident of River Ridge, LA and a parishioner of St. Matthew the Apostle Catholic Church. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Matthew the Apostle Catholic Church, 10021 Jefferson Hwy. in River Ridge on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at 11:00 AM with visitation beginning at 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers that contributions be made in Tina's honor to the American Lung Association; 2325 Severn Avenue, Suite 8; Metairie, LA 70001.
