Torino "Big Toe" Massey was a very special person he was a great & loving husband to my sister, a good father to his children and his siblings. He was also a wonderful son-in-law to my parents & a good brother-in-law to me and my siblings. Torino was loved by all who knew him and he is truly missed...I hope and pray we will all meet in Heaven one day.

Venita and family, thirty-six years ago you met your soulmate and best friend, a man who deeply loved his family and friends and life itself. From my first memory of Toriano at age 12, You/Venita, children and grandchildren were his greatest joy and accomplishment, clearly he worked diligently throughout his life to provide for you guys. While his wife and family were his greatest joy and priority, "Toe" always had a willingness to lend a hand to assist his family and friends in need, even when he was cold, tired, or hungry. Yet, despite of, or because, he often forsaked his own need or comfort, he stood head and shoulders above other men, yet remained always humble and steady. Furthermore, I will always remember my brother in law, as a loyal husband, big brother, animal lover, especially horses, fishes, dogs, motorcycles and race cars, swimming, fishing, and boating, but most of all his Venita. Truly, Venita, God blessed you both with precious jewels in each other to treasure and cherish, as you both did throughout your marriage. And while I will miss "Toe," I count it a blessing and honor to have known a man, who was cut from the same cloth as our Dad. Finally, to sum it up, Toriano was a man worthy of respect, because he gave his best to all in need, even when it was not convenient to do so.

When I was about 13, we moved to a new house. Toe's dad (Gerald) and mine (Merk) were best friends. Toe came to help us move our things. He picked up the stove all by himself, walked out outside and sat it on the truck. I was amazed. R.I.H. Brother.

It was a privilege to have Uncle Toe in my life. Like my late grandfather Uncle Toe was always a shining example of a good man. Hardworking, devoted to his family, and always willing to lend a helping hand. I'll miss his straightforward ways, his calm demeanor, his kindness, and the many small ways that he showed you that he cared. As a niece, I can honestly say he was a great uncle and a wonderful person to have in your life. I'll think of him fondly and miss him dearly.

Venita, with my mere words, I can never express to you how sorry I am on the loss of your wonderful husband. Toriano I can say was one of the best brothers-in-laws I have had and an awesome uncle to my sons from the time they were little, no matter what he always had a good heart towards me and my boys and I shall forever be grateful and thankful to God, for the impact and impression he had on our lives. Along with my boys, I will miss him. May he rest in the peace in the arms of our Lord, until his triumphant return.
